Solera Cartavio Rum in La Habana, Cuba

During the 3rd. "Simposio del Tabaco Habana-Habanos 2009" The peruvian Solera Cartavio rum (Destilerías Unidas) has been presented in an analitic tasting.

The event ended with a marriage with chocolates, peruvian San Martín Robustos cigars (Tabacalera del Oriente) and the ultra premium coffee Cohiba Atmosphere.

The participants of the tasting where sommeliers, habano-sommeliers, cigar connoisseurs, professors, alcoholic beberages specialists, traders, investigators, bartenders, and other professionals of the tobacco and alcoholic beberage fields, from Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Perú and Brasil.

The tasting has been placed in the historically "Taberna del Benny" in the "Plaza Vieja", Old Habana city, and leaded by the Solera rum brand ambassador, Jorge Irribarren and the coffee specialist Mario Alonso from Cubacafé.

In the picture we can see the specialists from Cohiba Atmosphere coffee and Solera Cartavio rum, choosing the correct marriage, before the official tasting.
The most important experience was that in Cuba, one of the lands where you can find wonderful rums, the peruvian Solera Cartavio 12 years rum, simply impressed and delighted everybody.

The compliments and congratulations for Solera were too much.
